The North American Association of Transportation Service Providers is a collection of all trucking stakeholders, from the people out there driving the trucks to insurance companies protecting the truckers on the road. For far too long, industry representation has been fragmented. Trade groups for small truckers and other groups representing the mega-carriers. It is time for a group to include all industry stakeholders, from the driver, mechanics, factoring, insurance and brokers to try and change trucking from the inside, as a group, protecting the industry as a whole, versus the current model of everyone look out for themselves.
The mission of the North American Association of Transportation Service Providers is simple: To be the real voice of the industry. the voice of the people who are actually working in the field each and every day. Too often the voice of the smaller stakeholders are smothered by the larger corporations and providers. Our goal is to include everyone both large and small and work to affect positive changes in the industry. Finally.
In the coming months, we will adopt several advisory councils comprised of appointed members who actually work in that specific field and will represent their industries in selecting issues, developing plans on how to address these issues and get the voice of trucking out..
Anticipated Councils:
Council on Independent Trucking- Comprised of appointed independent trucking company owner and lease operators.
Council on the Advancement of Freight Technology- Comprised of appointed trucking, brokerage, factoring and technology members
Council on Brokerage- Comprised of appointed Freight Brokers and Agents
Council on Trucking Finance - Comprised of appointed factoring, financing and financial members
